I thought that since this branch of the Rutledge Family had its' genesis at Duke, it would be appropriate to post this picture (from the University website). I don't know if there was snow on campus when Mom and Dad were there (even I can't remember that far back, although I strongly suspect there was on more than one occasion), but I think that it is absolutely beautiful ('course it's beautiful without snow as well, but...).
